Workshops are one-time events and each one has a different theme or art instruction experience. Painting with Chris Cruz
Bold Blooms Through Negative Painting
Join artist Chris Cruz for a hands-on exploration of negative painting techniques to create vibrant, dimensional artwork. Working from a bold floral composition, students will learn how to paint the space around their subject to define form, develop depth, and create striking contrast.
Chris will guide you through building purposeful shadows, using bold, expressive color, and layering shapes to bring energy and clarity to your painting. This process-focused approach helps artists see light, shape, and composition in a fresh way.
