Choose one object from your everyday environment. Reduce it to lines, shapes, or silhouettes until it begins to feel symbolic rather than literal.

Stories often begin with ordinary things. When you simplify an object, you separate meaning from representation—allowing intuition and interpretation to surface.
How
- Select objects that are flat and can live in a 2D space
- Leaves work beautifully as they change through their life cycle
- Notice color, decay, and imperfection—these are clues, not flaws
- Consider when your object exists: spring, summer, fall, or winter
