Jennifer Chandler
Jennifer Chandler, an Alabama native, is renowned not only for her extraordinary achievements as an Olympic gold medalist in 3-meter springboard diving at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games but also for her lifelong passion for the arts. A trailblazer in her sport, she also claimed gold at the 1975 Pan American Games and won seven national titles in 1-meter and 3-meter springboard diving. Remarkably, she remains the last American woman to win Olympic gold in meter springboard, a record she has held for nearly 50 years.
While Jennifer's athletic achievements brought her global recognition, her heart has always been equally dedicated to creativity and artistic expression. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Drawing and Painting from the University of Arizona, laying the foundation for her vibrant career as a working artist. Jennifer's art reflects her deep connection to her
personal journey and her ability to channel resilience and emotion into her creations.

Jennifer seamlessly blends her artistic talents with her professional pursuits in community engagement, development, and public outreach. As Community Outreach Director at Vulcan Park and Museum in Birmingham, she uses her creative perspective to connect the community with Vulcan's legacy as a symbol of resilience and progress.

She has held key roles at the Lakeshore Foundation, the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, and the Birmingham Soccer Organizing Committee during the 1996 Centennial Olympic
Games. As Senior Community Affairs Liaison at HEALTHSOUTH Corporation, Jennifer was instrumental in the success of the "GO FOR IT!" Roadshow, traveling to 138 cities in 42 states and reaching over 4 million students while promoting fitness, nutrition, and positive lifestyle choices. Her leadership roles in these organizations have often been enriched by her artistic vision, bringing an inspiring, creative touch to outreach, events, and storytelling.

A champion in both sports and the arts, Jennifer's ability to inspire transcends her accomplishments. As a sought-after motivational speaker, she shares her Olympic journey and the importance of pursuing one's passions, embracing creativity, and finding a balance between work and artistic expression.
