Daily Oil Painting: This workshop will help jump start those who want to paint more
often and with more control over their brushwork. McDonald is a member of Daily
Painters of Alabama, Women Painters of the Southeast, and Daily Paintworks. She
will demonstrate a contemporary realism painting style that she learned from Dawn
Whitlaw, Michael Shane Neal, and Carol Marine. Leave your fear at the door and come
ready to have a good time and learn a lot about color mixing and color application.

Painting with Transparent Oils
Workshop Dates: 5/5/2012 - 5/5/2012
Leave your fear at the door and prepare to have a fun time painting with transparent oils. Photos will be provided. Carolyn will demonstrate drawing the subject on a 12 x 12 inch. panel and the block in phase of the work. Students will then mix their own pallets and follow the lead. The instructor will give individual attention to each participant. The final stage is adding the opaque oils and sculpting (in paint) the forms of the subject.
